Social Butterfly Club Events Calendar Oct 22-Dec 10, 2016

Anyone else feels like our weather is really temperamental?  I never know if I should be dressed for Winter or Fall since the sun comes out once in awhile and give me the illusion that it's warm out.  I have been getting more and more involved with Beaty Night Society, and recently volunteered for them in a delightful photo exhibit fundraiser that brought much dialogue about women's "Alter Ego"!  I was stunned by the photography, and the many sides the subjects portrayed, from innocent to daring to wild to sexy!  The event was packed and very fashionable.  I manned the silent auction booth and lost my voice since I spoke to everyone that came through the door that night.  I highly encourage you to donate to this worthy charity www.beautynight.org since they have been providing over 60,000+  life transformation events for women in the downtown eastside in the past 16 years and continues to service on average 75 women in 4 events each week.  Come out to the FREEFALL Film Showing and we'll also operate a silent auction there.

I also attended the 2-hour lecture by the former Defense Minister of Canada 74 years old Paul Hellyer at UBC and bought his book "Money Mafia".  What a brilliant man, who shed light about the 1% who controls the rest of the 99%, and presented a 7-year plan that could win back some rights for everyday Canadians like you and me.

Social Butterfly Club Events Calendar Oct 7th-21st, 2016

Hi there,

I must apologize for not writing you for months, I got swamped this summer and fall.  I just recovered from a cold so I'm ready for business and all the social activities popping up on the calendar right now!  Here is a recap of some of my recent adventures, will writing about them in details so you get caught up.

Bass Pro Shop sure spent a lot of money for their Grand Opening within the Tsawwassen Mills Mall, they hired live performers to do snowboarding and canoeing in mid air.  In addition to decked out their whole store looking like the outdoors with a giant salmon fish tank with the biggest cat fish I've ever seen.  Their store also has a full on bowling alley and restaurant!  The new mall is certainly worth a visit, I got a pair of Kenneth Cole ankle boots for $24 that was 70% off at DSW.  But I must say, the quality and selection are nowhere near the DSW store in USA.

Vancouver Fashion Week had some really interesting elements (the first outfit was made from plastic)

One Nation Entertainment Launch Party & Africouture Fashion Show

Full house last night at Sadhguru's 2 hour talk at Queen Elizabeth Theatre
